The short version
This site sets no cookies, shows no consent banner, and does not track you. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising, no social media tracking and no third-party scripts of any kind. Nothing about your visit is shared with anyone outside Pindar Creative, who built and host the directory for UWE Bristol.
What the site stores in your browser
Three small settings are saved by your browser so the site behaves sensibly as you use it. They are not cookies, they contain no personal information, and they are never sent anywhere — they stay on your device.

You can clear these at any time through your browser settings. The site will still work; it will simply forget those preferences.
What our server records
Like almost every website, our web server keeps an access log. For each request it records the IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page if there is one, and the browser's identifier. This is ordinary server logging, used to keep the service running securely and to understand how the directory is used.
We produce a monthly summary from those logs — visits, page views, most-viewed facilities and referring sites — which is shared with UWE Bristol. The summary contains totals only. It does not identify individual visitors and is not used to build any profile of you.
Access logs are kept for a few weeks, and the aggregated monthly figures for up to 14 months. Neither is shared with any third party.
Other services
Map images are served from a map server also run by Pindar Creative. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, so no content is loaded from external providers and no third party receives your IP address.
Where a facility listing links out to that facility's own website, or to services such as what3words, those sites have their own privacy policies and this one does not apply to them.
